A Functional Approach to Stretching & ROM
(8 CEU's - Florida Board of Massage Therapy & NCBTMB)

This seminar will give the attendee a better understanding of the physiology of stretching and ROM. Participants will be able to gain an understanding of how proprioception works in the muscular system and the science of stretching. Participants will practice a variety of hands–on stretching techniques and learn how to integrate these techniques into treatment protocols to improve their clients’ well-being and performance.

This seminar will inform the attendee of the latest information available about stretching through valid, peer reviewed, scientific reports and how this new information may affect the way we stretch our clients and athletes.

The target populations for this seminar are Sports Massage Therapists (LMT), Athletic Trainers (ATC/L), Chiropractors (DC), Personal Fitness Trainers (CPT) and Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA).

Sports Massage for Performance Enhancement Seminar

This seminar / workshop will give the attendee the opportunity to learn and practice different sports massage and stretching techniques in order to help improve performance in athletes. Participants will learn detail information about exercise physiology, sports biomechanics, stretching and performance, the effects of massage in athletics, sports related injuries and pathologies, as well as basic principles of the business of Sports Massage. The seminar will also cover the basics of how to set up a sports massage event. This exciting training is absolutely recommended to anyone wishing to work with athletes and in the world of sports.

Musculo-skeletal Review for the Bodyworker
(8 CEU's - Florida Board of Massage Therapy)

This seminar will help you review the basics and some advanced concepts of the anatomy of the musculo-skeletal system. During this class you will be able to re-learn all your bony landmarks and muscle actions with an emphasis to muscle attachments.This seminars is an excellent review to students who are studying for their National Certification Exam (NCE-NCBTMB).
